Effective date: September 8, 2026. Seller: AST Designs.
This agreement is between you (the customer) and AST Designs. By purchasing, installing, or using an AST Designs plug-in, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the plug-in.
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the plug-in you purchased. A license is sold per Vectorworks seat and is tied to the seat's serial number. One license covers one seat. If you run more seats, you need a license for each.
You may not resell, sublicense, rent, share, or redistribute the plug-in or your license key. You may not decrypt, reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to recover the source of an encrypted plug-in, or work around the licensing. You may not remove or alter our notices or branding.
The plug-in, its code, and all intellectual property in it remain ours. You are buying a license to use it, not the software itself.
Your key unlocks the tool on your seat and stays valid for that seat, including reinstalls. Keys are issued to you personally; sharing a key is a breach of this agreement and may result in the key being revoked.
We may release updates and fixes. We are not obligated to, and an update may change or remove features. Updates are covered by this same agreement.
The plug-in is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that it is error-free or that its output is accurate. See our Product Disclaimer: the tools are for drafting and visualization, not engineering, and all loads, rigging, and safety must be verified by a qualified engineer.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, AST Designs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any injury, loss, or damage arising from use of the plug-in. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the license.
This license lasts until terminated. It ends automatically if you breach these terms. On termination you must stop using and remove the plug-in.
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
